Raising Safe & Supported Youth: A Caregiver Workshop on Safety, Violence Prevention, and Fostering Healthy Relationships

December 1, 8, 15, 2026 // 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

This three-part virtual workshop series gives parents and caregivers a judgment-free space to learn how to talk with the young people in their lives about relationships, sexuality, technology, boundaries, and safety.

Throughout the series, parents and caregivers will have opportunities to reflect on what they already know, explore common questions and challenges, and practice strategies they can use at home. Workshops will include reflective activities, discussion, and practical resources focused on:

  • Gender, Sexuality & Healthy Development – Understanding sexual development, gender and sexual identity, age-appropriate sexual behavior, and how to have supportive conversations with young people.
  • Role of Technology & Sexual Health –Exploring how social media, and other digital experiences can shape young people’s relationships, boundaries, and decision-making, while supporting healthy digital safety and autonomy to prevent technology-based violence.
  • Sexual Violence Prevention– Learning about warning signs of unhealthy relationships, teen dating violence, grooming, and abuse, as well as how caregivers can respond when a young person needs support.

This session is for parents, caregivers, and other trusted adults who support young people.
