Supporting Trans Survivors of Sexual Violence

Join The Alliance Against Sexual Violence, with special guest speaker Emil Rudicell from Forge, for the first installment of our Supporting Survivors Across Identities training series. Trans and nonbinary people experience high rates of sexual violence throughout their lifetimes. At the same time, they face heightened barriers to finding support and care after violence. This workshop will explore the unique needs of trans/nonbinary survivors and how advocates can provide trauma-informed, trans-affirming support.

Who Should Attend
These trainings are tailored toward staff at New York State Rape Crisis Programs, but are open to anyone whose work intersects with preventing or responding to sexual violence.
